Q: Describe the culture at BVA.
I would describe the culture at BVA as collaborative, welcoming, and empowering. Employees are encouraged to participate in firm initiatives that are of interest to them, such as the culture committee, which plans various team-bonding events and volunteer activities, as well as on-campus recruiting.
Q: What makes BVA a great place for recent graduates or professionals early in their careers?
One of BVA's core values is continuous learning, which is evident through the extensive training an analyst will complete during their first year. In addition, we host monthly training sessions to discuss various valuation and litigation topics. Lastly, BVA provides employees with opportunities to further their education through accreditations and certificates.
Q: What does teamwork look like at BVA?
All projects are completed within teams, which creates a highly collaborative environment. BVA encourages team members across all levels to utilize prior experiences and unique perspectives to deliver the best possible work product for clients.
Q: What community involvement or volunteer activities does BVA participate in, and how do these reflect the firm’s values?
Each quarter, BVA selects a nonprofit organization in the Houston and Dallas communities to donate both our time and resources. This provides a great opportunity for us to serve our local community as a team and learn more about the causes that our coworkers have selected to support.
