Britney Tran is responsible for the execution and management of a variety of valuation and financial advisory engagements. Ms. Tran has worked with public and privately held companies, partnerships, and private equity firms on a wide range of engagements including transaction and management planning, fairness opinions, and valuations for strategy, financial reporting, and tax purposes.

Q: What drew you to the firm?
The ability to work on a vast variety of projects for companies spanning different industries, especially early on in my career drew me to BVA. Additionally, given the firm’s size, you’re able to take on a high level of ownership on projects, which I knew would help me grow professionally.
Q: What makes BVA a great place for recent graduates or professionals early in their careers?
BVA is a great place for recent graduates as it gives you many opportunities to learn right off the bat. After a couple weeks of initial training where you’re introduced to the different types of valuations you’ll be tasked to do as an analyst, you’re assigned projects where you’re able to take ownership of very early on in your career. This allowed me to personally grow and get up the learning curve here at BVA.
Q: How does BVA help employees grow professionally?
BVA does a great job by supporting employees in continuing education efforts. For me personally, this was obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation awarded by the CFA Institute. Additionally, throughout your career at BVA, you’ll also be given ample opportunities to further develop professionally through monthly Lunch and Learns where different senior professionals at the firm present on key topics.
